I am having troubles installing EasyBlog

There's a couple of issues that would prevent you from installing the component and some of these includes:

Your hosting provider has set the upload_max_filesize to 2MB  only.

This is often the case and to quickly fix this, you can either contact your hosting provider to increase the upload_max_filesize in the php.ini to a larger value instead. Another alternative is to install this via a temporary directory. To install from a directory, you can follow the guide here

Incorrect temporary path set in your Joomla global configuration.

Sometimes, this could be because you switched from a different hosting environment and the path's are all different. You'll need to edit your Joomla Global Configuration and set the temporary path to the correct path.

Permission issues.

Your hosting provider might have some issues with the permissions. When the file ownership belongs to a different user, you might experience this problem. The best way to identify this problem is to contact your hosting provider. If they are reluctant to help, contact us and we'll help you troubleshoot this.
